With over 40 years of experience in mechanical engineering, Lisa Pinkus has established herself as a highly skilled professional in the field. Her career began as a designer, where she contributed to a diverse range of projects across various building sectors, including retail, commercial, entertainment, food service, residential, long-term care, and community buildings.
Lisa quickly advanced to the role of Project Manager, where she successfully managed numerous long-term client relationships while also leading a talented design team. Throughout her career, she has been directly involved in project delivery, ensuring that all projects were completed on schedule and met the highest standards of design excellence, all while adhering to clients’ budgets.
Her commitment to building strong, long-term client relationships is a hallmark of her career, as is her dedication to fostering a welcoming and collaborative culture among her staff. Lisa has cultivated loyal design teams and retained many long-term employees, contributing to a stable and productive work environment.
In 2006, Lisa was one of the managing partners at LKM when the company was sold to SNC Lavalin. She continued her role in project and staff management within the mechanical and electrical departments of the newly formed entity. Most recently, as Vice President at SNC Lavalin/AtkinsRéalis, she oversaw a team of over 60 engineers across Toronto, Sudbury, and Ottawa.
Currently, as the Chief Operating Officer of Rybka, Lisa is poised to leverage her extensive experience in design, project management, and team leadership. Her goal is to establish Rybka as a top-tier engineering group that not only meets client needs but also provides an exciting and rewarding workplace for its employees.
